The session was organized by ‘Department of Economics and Sociology’ at 4/11/2022 in the ‘EV Seminar Hall’, Mercy College Palakkad. The resource person of the program was Mr Nithin Joy, the Branch Manager, HDFC AMC. The program was coordinated by Mr Noushad PM, Business Support Executive of ‘Geojith Financial Service Ltd’. The Welcome Speech is delivered by Sanjana PP, D3 economics. Mr. Nithin Joy led the session with the motive of awareness towards capital market and personal financial management. We discussed about Indian economic aspects-‘Make in India Campaign’, Transforming India from unorganised to organised sector, the role of Banking NPA(Non-Performing Asset), Inflation, etc. The role of Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) offered by Mutual Funds was also discussed. Mr. Noushad PM led the session focusing on the real aspects of Stock market. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Sneha Sasikumar, D3 Economics.
