The department as an effort to exhibit creativity in young-minds, conducted a one day workshop & competition entitled, ‘Women Ecopreneurs with Start-up ideas’ on the theme ‘Innovative DIY ideas for sustainable everyday life’, on June 15th, 2021. Through this programme the department aims to nurture ideas which are innovative in terms of initiation, novelty and designs, yet cost-effective and addresses our everyday life. About 72 candidates attended the session , and 15 of them participated in the event. Two of them were awarded with attractive prizes for the novelty in their products made.
