The certificate course on “LaTeX Typesetting” for UG and PG students were conducted by the PG Department of Mathematics in three batches. This 30 hours certificate course consists of 10 hours of theory and 20 hours of practical classes. The tutors were Dr.Pravas.K Assistant Professor, Dept. of Mathematics, K.K.T.M Govt.College, Pullut, Dr. Sr. Jorry T.F, Assistant Professor, Mercy College Palakkad and Dr. Nithya A.A, Assistant Professor, Mercy College Palakkad. During this academic year a total number of 50 students attended the course in three batches. Final year UG Mathematics students(38) enrolled for First and second Batch with 19 students each, and final year PG Mathematics students(12) enrolled for Third Batch. The course started on 17/2/2021 and finished on 31/3/2021. At the end of this course an examination was conducted on 31/03/2021 for three batches and awarded certificates on 16/04/2021. Dr Pravas.K gave an online theory class through Google meet for our students about installation of TeX, Overleaf-A Online LaTeX editor, Basics of LaTeX and commands on 20/02/2021 at Main Computer Lab.
