The International Village Festival, held at Peruvanam , Thrissur was a renowned cultural event that brings together people from diverse backgrounds to celebrate the rich heritage and traditions of various communities .This year Mercy College ,Palakkad had the privilege of participating in this vibrant Festival through the active involvement of its students as volunteers. A dedicated group of Mercy College students and faculty of Language Department volunteered for various roles throughout the festival. The students and Faculty of the Mercy College played an essential part in ensuring the smooth operation of the event .The volunteers also had the opportunity to interact with people from different parts of the world ,gaining valuable insights into the customs, traditions and lifestyles of various culture.
