National Webinar on “Research Process and Future Implications”

Department of Computer Applications, Mercy College Palakkad conducted a One day National Webinar on “Research Process and Future Implications” on 5th may, 2021 at 11.00 a.m through Online Platform Google Meet. The Webinar started with a prayer. The welcome speech was delivered by Stency V S, co-ordinator of the webinar. The webinar was inaugurated by Dr. Sr. Gisala George, Principal of Mercy College, Palakkad. Our Resource Person was Dr. T Deepa, Associate professor, Department of Computer science, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women, Coimbatore. The session started by 11 am and was indeed resourceful to all the participants who took part in it. The event turned out successful with all the moral support of Sr. Jainy Jacob M, HOD of Department of computer applications, students, other teachers of the Department and entire college. Around 70 participants including PG Students, Faculties and Research Scholars from other institutions along with the students of our department took part in the webinar. Webinar session based on Research process and their future implications was relevant to the present scenario. All the effective information regarding research and its process was given by Dr. T Deepa. The session’s main motive was to deliver the basic concepts of research process and its various types in order to make clear how the research world runs. The students actively participated in the webinar and had a visionary on how they could develop their research ideology and bring it up to the world. E-certificates were provided to all participants. A feedback form was collected from the participants in the end of the session so as to identify the usefulness and relevance of the topic in research area. The webinar was a grant success and ended with a Vote of Thanks to all.
