Mercy College celebrated the 68th Kerala Piravi with a vibrant event, ‘Keraleeyam 2024, organized by the Departments of Economics and Sociology. The program began promptly at 2:30 p.m. with Sandra’s presentation capturing Kerala's natural beauty, rich traditions, and unity. Jimi George formally welcomed the audience, setting the stage for the principal, Sister Nirmal, who spoke passionately about Kerala’s cultural heritage and the importance of preserving its environment. The celebration featured mesmerizing cultural performances: Revathi’s elegant Mohiniyattam, a soul-stirring group song by Ninni and friends, and a semi classical dance by Trisha’s group, each act beautifully reflecting Kerala’s spirit. Anna Maria concluded the event with a warm vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the attendees, faculty, and staff and extending heartfelt wishes for Kerala Piravi once again, leaving everyone inspired and uplifted.
