Remedial coaching for chemistrystudents was initiated to address challenges in understanding key concepts andimproving academic performance of weak learners. Weakstudents are selected from the classes based on their performance in internalexams and class assessments. We had also added students who had arrears of oneor two papers in the previous semesters along with the selected weak studentsof regular semester. The coachingsessions were structured to cover fundamental topics in Chemistry, includingatomic structure, chemical bonding, stoichiometry and chemical reactions.Special emphasis was placed on addressing individual learning gaps throughpersonalized instruction and practice exercises. The exam orientedportion discussion, previous year question paper work out and class tests makethem able to attend exams with confidence and secure marks. Through remedialcoaching we train our students on exam point of view focus by giving them wellorganized classes and discussing the portions students demand. Remedial hourswere conducted before or after regular class hours as per the convenience ofselected students.
